The Howard School is seeking to appoint a highly effective Caretaker to join the site team, with effect from April 2024.

This is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday-Friday, 37 hours per week, paid on the basis of the NJC payscale point 4-11 (FTE £23,114 - £25,979 - actual salary is calculated on a pro rata basis).

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, well organised, and have a good attention to detail.

This is an exciting time to join The Howard with a number of significant changes planned for the future that will support our move towards excellence. We opened a new Science and DT block in November 2021, which saw a fantastic £5m investment in The Howard School from the Department of Education. This state-of-the-art block has been a hit with pupils and staff, helping the pupils to further their learning in a purpose built environment.
