Welcome from the Interim Chief Executive
I am delighted to welcome you to The Howard Academy Trust.
We are a highly successful Trust of nine schools: four secondary schools, including a University Technical College (UTC), four primary schools and a specialist Alternative Provision and SEN setting. Our schools are based across Medway, Kent and Bexley.
Our vision, “Working together to build a community of successful learners,” is at the heart of what we do. I am proud to lead an organisation that is truly collaborative and always looking at how we can improve the outcomes and life chances of all our pupils, regardless of their background or circumstances.

I am incredibly proud of what The Howard Academy Trust has achieved since it was established in 2015. Every academy inspected has either remained Good or improved its Ofsted rating, and over recent years we have seen continued improvements in outcomes and other key measures across our schools. We know there is always more we can do, and we will continue to challenge ourselves, learn from each other and keep improving.
One of the real strengths of The Howard Academy Trust is that our schools keep their own identity and continue to serve their local communities, whilst also benefiting from being part of a larger organisation. Our schools work together and support each other, sharing expertise and good practice, alongside strong school improvement support, collaboration and excellent operational services.
As Interim Chief Executive, I am incredibly proud to lead our schools and to work alongside the exceptional leaders, teachers, support staff and governors across our Trust. We have a great deal to be proud of, but our focus remains on what comes next and making sure we continue to do the very best, every day, for our pupils and the communities we serve.
