Cathy Reid
Deputy Chief Executive
Cathy holds a BA (Hons) and a PGCE and has experience as the Trust Director of Education, Executive Headteacher and senior leader across a range of educational settings. She has experience of leading improvement work in both primary and secondary schools that were previously judged by Ofsted to require improvement or be in a category of concern. She has supported leaders to secure rapid and sustainable improvement, resulting in significantly better inspection outcomes for schools.
She has worked closely with principals and leadership teams across both primary and secondary phases and has extensive experience of supporting school improvement, strengthening leadership capacity and improving outcomes for children and young people.
Cathy currently has strategic responsibility for the Trust's secondary schools, providing support and challenge to school leaders to drive continuous improvement, strengthen educational outcomes and maintain high standards of provision.
She has completed an NPQEL and is a National College facilitator. Cathy has experience as an Ofsted Inspector and serves as a trustee for a multi-academy trust and an animal welfare charity. She is also a governor at a local special school.
