On Friday 7th July, we held our annual Staff Conference for all members of staff across our academies. This year, due to expansion, the conference was held across two school sites, and allowed staff the opportunity to network with their respective department leads in other academies, and to share knowledge. It also provided a prime opportunity for wider staff to formally meet with members of staff from The Abbey School, who joined our Trust in April this year.
 
We were also fortunate to be able to welcome three external speakers to this year's event. We would like to thank David Cameron, Kirsty Jordan and Ross Miller for their inspiring talks around the value of education, being mindful of mental health, and creating resilient mindsets.
 
Plans are already underway for our next Trust-wide conference, which will be held next academic year.
