The Howard Academy Trust hosted the first Pupil Parliament meeting of this academic year, focusing on Digital Transformation. 💻
Two pupil representatives from each of our nine schools came together to explore how technology is shaping their learning, and how it could be used even more effectively in the future.
After a quick round of introductions, pupils shared their experiences of IT across their schools, from interactive screens and laptops to coding clubs, digital photography, and online homework collaboration tools.
They discussed how technology helps them learn, stay organised, while also sharing ideas on how the Trust could continue to innovate, from expanding access to digital resources to using AI.
It was an engaging and forward-thinking session, full of collaboration.
The Trust’s senior leaders were hugely impressed by the confidence and insight shown by every pupil, whose voices will help shape how we continue to invest in and develop digital learning across all our schools.
We look forward to seeing how their ideas inspire real change in the months ahead, and to welcoming them back for the next Pupil Parliament meeting.
