Last May, three of our primary schools joined forces with internationally renowned pianist Dominic Ferris to perform at the inaugural Rainham Piano Festival.
Dominic Ferris, celebrated for his collaborations with artists like Barry Manilow and Dame Shirley Bassey, presented a diverse program at St Margaret's Church, featuring works from George Gershwin to Elton John.
The choir, made up from pupils from each primary school, joined together to accompany him on stage to perform a special Sherman Brothers medley, as well as music by Stephen Schwartz and There Might Be Giants.
The event offered our students a platform to not only experience the magic of performing live alongside a world-class musician, but also to share their passion for music with their community.
