Last year, lettings across our academies generated an impressive £577,000 — a significant achievement that reflects the dedication and collaboration of our Lettings Team, SchoolHire partners, and site staff. This success is the result of consistent hard work and seamless coordination, ensuring that our facilities remain welcoming, well-managed, and vibrant long after the school day ends.

Across our Trust, school sites transform into thriving community hubs during evenings and weekends. A wide range of organisations make use of our facilities, including sports clubs, fitness groups, performing arts and drama schools, tuition providers, and even dog-training sessions. These activities not only foster strong community relationships but also ensure our spaces are used to their full potential.

In addition to regular weekly bookings, we are proud to host a variety of large weekend events, which generate valuable extra income and further strengthen our links with local communities. So far this academic year, events have included:

  • Dance competitions
  • Football tournaments
  • Model railway exhibitions
  • The Faversham Hop Festival
  • Volleyball and badminton tournaments
  • Quilting group gatherings
  • Indian cultural festivals
  • English Subbuteo Association championships
  • Kent Disability League tournaments
  • …and many more

The financial contribution from lettings plays an important role in supporting our school budgets. This income helps us continue to provide an excellent, enriching education and broaden the opportunities available to every pupil across our Trust.

Our thanks go to everyone involved in making our lettings programme such a success. We look forward to building on this momentum in the year ahead.
