To kick off the new academic year, our entire cohort of staff from across The Howard Academy Trust joined us at The Howard School last week for our annual THAT Staff Conference.
Our Staff Conference is an opportunity to keep our staff up to date with the latest Trust news, deliver training, and allow collaboration between our staff members. Through a meticulously planned calendar of staff-led sessions, breakout rooms, and external speakers, over 700 members of staff were encouraged to use the day to prepare for the new academic year, and share best practice between colleagues.
Staff were also able to explore the many benefits on offer as a member of staff at THAT, by visiting our healthcare and wellbeing partners who were on hand to answer any questions throughout the day.
We would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone involved in the organisation of this year's event, and to all our external partners for taking the time to share their expertise and knowledge with our staff.
