Celebrating National Early Years Teacher Day

Today, on National Early Years Teacher Day, we proudly recognise and celebrate the outstanding dedication of our Early Years Teachers across The Howard Academy Trust.

From the moment children take their first steps into education, our Early Years teams are there, creating warm, welcoming environments where curiosity is encouraged, creativity is celebrated, and confidence grows.

We know that the work of an Early Years Teacher is more than just teaching. It’s about laying the foundations for lifelong learning, building strong relationships, and nurturing the whole child.

Our Director of Primary Education, Barry Symons, says:

Early childhood teachers ignite children’s natural curiosity, laying the groundwork for a lifelong passion for learning.

They are the foundation for children’s future learning and help empower children to explore, learn, and thrive as they take their first steps into the exciting world of school.

The Trust knows that their influence helps shape not only academic growth but also emotional wellbeing, resilience, and a love for learning.

To all our Early Years Teachers:
Thank you
