On Friday 1st July, we held our first Trust Conference for all staff. Over 300 members of our staffing body gathered at Christine House for an opportunity to hear from our Chief Executive about the Trust and updates to education, to network with members of staff outside of their own academies, and hear from a number of speakers.

We were fortunate enough to be joined by Ray Oudkerk - Assistant Principal at The Brit School, Lisa Jones - Co-Founder of HeadStrong, who led talks around EDI and Resilience, respectively, and Bogusia Matusiak-Varley, our keynote speaker. Presentations were also given by members of our internal Trust team and senior leaders.

We received some very positive feedback about the event, and it was fantastic to gather our entire staffing body together in one place for the first time. As a Trust, we believe that the sharing of knowledge and expertise across academies has an enormous impact on ensuring that we provide the best quality education to all of our pupils, and hope that this event has been the next step in further strengthening the support network between staff throughout the MAT.

We are eagerly looking forward to our second annual conference next year.
