The Howard School GCSE Results 2020
In unprecedented times, The Howard School Year 11 students collected their results amidst an atmosphere of uncertainty. This was made even more challenging for boys who were expecting BTEC results, which have been delayed by the exam board.
The Howard School has proudly maintained its high standards, with students continuing to deliver excellent academic results. Early indications are that virtually all students have secured the grades necessary to access their chosen pathway, with the vast majority choosing to stay at The Howard School mixed Sixth Form.
We had some outstanding individual performances. Bradley Rogers achieved grade 9’s in Geography and Physics and grade 8 in English Language and Design & Technology. Peter Burrows-Martin achieved 4 grade 9’s in Biology, Chemistry, Geography and Design & Technology and Thomas Wright achieved grade 9 in Geography and grade 8’s in English Language and Double Award Science. Ben Wildey achieved grade 9 in Mathematics and grade 8’s in English Language, History and Chemistry.
Other notable performances included Jack Daysh, Callum Carroll, Ethan Larkins, Jack Lynch, Dylan Murr and Harry Nichols who all achieved grades awarded 6-9.
Ms Reid, Executive Headteacher, expressed how delighted she is that the hard work of students and their teachers has paid off and that the school is able to celebrate their success.
